Animals are a type of creature created by [[deities:major:Mothayra]] before the [[history:thefall|Fall]].\\
During the [[history:era2:|Second Age]] new animals were created frequently, this stopped with Mothayra's corruption.

In the present age [[deities:major:Ania]] is the main caretaker and patron deity of animals, though she lacks the ability to create new ones.
