====== Wyrms ======
Wyrms are creatures of dragonic nature without hind legs, instead the body tapers into a serpent-like tail. Most wyrms are also wingless, though some winged wyrms are said to exist, some legends also treat fully serpent-like non-limbed dragons as wyrms. They have a greater affinity to magic and can use it to fly despite being wingless. It's not quite clear how they are related to regular dragons; some tales speak of wyrmic lineages, and some speak of wyrms hatching to non-wyrm parents.

The first wyrm is the Gleaming One [[deities:major:gleaming_ones#Djez]], the first magic user aside from the deity of magic [[deities:major:Ashta]]; she studied magic to learn how to fly and passed it down to all wyrms after her.
