Gem Calendar

The Gem Calendar was established as a system of dividing time to line up with the moon phases and scheduling work. It was first created under the dwarven empires. After the fall of the empires it continued to be in use for ease of communication across country borders. One year is 384 days long. Eight days are one week, four weeks are one month. As such the calendar is divided into 12 months or 48 weeks. Three months are grouped into one season each.
Kultaik, the end of the week, is reserved as day of rest.
