 Born as the crown prince of Eri, they carried celestial and incelestial blood, as such they were later named Menelnun Oi'Tovon - the one above and below. Their father's ancestor had made a pact with a demon and produced a child, this pact allowing the dynasty to rise to power in the first place. Their mother carried celestial blood, though for how many generations and for what reason has been lost to time, as she was born a peasant. From a young age Oi'Tovon had shown great potential in the art of magic and was sent to various academies, where they forged first alliances.

 At the time when they came of age their family's demonic blood was revealed, which resulted in the king peacefully stepping down and another noble to take power. Oi'Tovon resented this and forged their own base of power, creating an alliance of powerful mages from the academies as well as nobles hostile to the new king. The rebellion succeeded, in part by the dark magic employed by Oi'Tovon's side as well as their brutality, and they took the throne. They started solidifying their own power more and more, scheming against the people who got them the crown. Their parents, rather than submitting to their power, took their own lives.\\
