Achot resides in a lighthouse, called Achot's Beacon, in the Astral Sea with which he guides lost souls back to the Soulwind. He is also the deity of lost souls of the living, striving to bring people that have lost their path back to themselves.
He is depicted as an older, gaunt man. Lanky body and bald head with a long unkempt beard. Often depicted wearing worn clothing and a tricorn hat.
Achot commands his followers to strive to be their true selves, advising them to isolate themselves at times for deep introspection to figure out what they truly want to be without the pressure of others. He also advises his followers to help others find themselves; priests of Achot take on the roles of therapists of sorts.
Temples of Achot take the form of light houses and beacons; both on the coast where they actually function for navigation and also inland, where their light is supposed to remind people to be themselves, no matter where they are. They are often occupied just by a singular priest who will offer an open ear and counseling to any visitors.
Followers of Achot use the fires of Light houses for important prayers.
Lighthouse keepers regularly pray for the safe journey of ships by burning prayers.
