====== Field of Scythes ======
The Field of Scythes describes an area in western [[realms:alranle:overview]] of approximately 50 by 30 kilometers.\\
It was the site of one of the most devastating battles of the [[history:Fallwar]], getting its name from the gigantic scythe wielded by the manifestation of [[deities:major:Oi'Tovon]], which it used to cut down enemy armies.\\
It is a hazardous area to this day, the fallout of the battle leaving lingering magic that will act in unpredictable ways and leads to the area being populated by [[creatures:monstrosities:]] of all sorts.

===== Geography =====
Despite its name not all of the field of Scythes can be described as a field.
The battlefield proper is an area of about 15 by 5 kilometers and is comprised mostly of a rocky wasteland.
The surrounding area is a woodland. To the west it reaches into the foothills of the [[geography:Rautar Range]].
