Most wyrms are also wingless, though some winged wyrms are said to exist, some legends also treat fully serpent-like non-limbed dragons as wyrms. They have a greater affinity to magic and can use it to fly despite being wingless. It's not quite clear how they are related to regular dragons; some tales speak of wyrmic lineages, and some speak of wyrms hatching to non-wyrm parents.
